Sharing files from OneDrive will soon be both easier and faster as Microsoft is currently working on a new update for its cloud storage service.
According to a post on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the software giant will soon allow users to pin and reorder shared libraries. When this new functionality becomes available next month, it will be easier for users to manage the list of places they've recently accessed or opened a file from.
OneDrive users will also have a simpler time picking up where they left off as they will be able to pin their frequently used shared libraries to the menu on the left side.
While this isn't a major update, it could prove especially useful for those that depend on Microsoft's online collaboration tools and office software as part of their daily workflow as they won't have to waste time trying to find a particular file or shared library.
In a separate post, Microsoft announced that users of its cloud storage service will also soon be able to organize their “Add to OneDrive” shortcuts.
Just like with the ability to pin and reorder shared libraries, this new file management feature will be available next month and with it, users will be able move their “Add to OneDrive” folder shortcuts into any private folder they create in OneDrive.
Microsoft has spent a good part of this year adding new features and functionality to OneDrive and it will be interesting to see what improvements the company has in store for its cloud storage service next year as more people begin upgrading to Windows 11.

Some tech companies aren't letting the last few weeks of 2021 go to waste, even launching new smartphones in the run-up to Christmas.
While some new phone releases are confirmed events, others are rumors that may or may not happen in the next few weeks. Accordingly, we've created a list of new smartphone launches based on the likelihood they'll actually happen in December of 2021.
Of course, none of these releases will be as big as what we'll see in the first few months of 2022. The giant tech conferences, CES in January and MWC in late February/early March, will likely coincide with massive phone launches like the releases of Samsung Galaxy S22, OnePlus 10 and Oppo Find X4. It's hard not to get excited by those!
Still, there are phones in our December 2021 list that are intriguing enough to entice more than a few tech fans.
We know the Honor 60 is launching, and it's happening very soon: December 1, to be exact.
This China-only launch of the phone will likely be followed by a global release in a few weeks' time. That means we'll soon see the phone in all of its technical glory, but might not know its price until the global launch.
The Honor 60 is the brand's next mid-range phone, following in the footsteps of the recently unveiled Honor 50. We don't expect the 60 to come with too many upgrades since it has only been six months since the last iteration was first released.
This is another confirmed December release, but we already saw the official launch of Sony's Xperia Pro-I earlier in 2021.
The Sony Xperia Pro-I is a super-premium mobile designed specifically for photographers. This phone has fantastic cameras and also works as a second display for many of Sony's cameras. The Xperia Pro-I is launching on December 2 in the UK and December 10 in the US.
The phone will be expensive, at $1,799 / £1,599 (around AU$2,400), but keep in mind that it's designed for professional photographers, and not your average phone fan.
While this launch hasn't technically been confirmed, we've heard so many rumors about Motorola's plan to release a top-end smartphone by the end of 2021 that we had to include it in this section.
Top chipset maker Qualcomm is expected to soon launch its new premium processor, and we've heard rumors that Motorola is eager to release the first phone using it. This means they might release a new phone by the end of this year, in close competition with Xiaomi, who also has a phone on this list.
We don't know if the new device is the Moto G200 or the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, both of which are rumored to launch in the next few months. Either way, we'd be very shocked if Motorola didn't release another smartphone by the end of the year.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 was launched in the last days of 2020 at a China-only event before getting a global unveiling in February of this year. We think it's possible Xiaomi will repeat that timing with their Xiaomi 12, but there are others who think the mobile might launch in January. For this reason, we've put this device in the 'possibly' section.
This is Xiaomi's next flagship phone, and the first main-series device since it dropped its 'Mi' branding. We're expecting top specs and a premium design, but we don't actually know all that much about the device yet.
Either way, of all the phones on this list, the Xiaomi 12 will likely end up as one of the biggest releases of the year — regardless of which year it launches. When it does show up, it's definitely a phone we'll be reporting on so stay tuned.
There was a rumor that Oppo would launch its first foldable phone in November 2021. Clearly, that didn't happen, but it's possible the launch was just delayed by a few weeks.
A December Oppo release would line up with the company's annual Inno Day, where it shows off new tech innovations that later feature on its devices. Inno Day was in December in 2019, November in 2020, and we still have yet to hear about 2021's Inno Day.
It wouldn't be a surprise to see the Oppo foldable phone at Inno Day 2021, but we have low expectations the release will happen before the end of the year.
Early in 2021, we heard about a flagship phone from HMD Global called the Nokia X50, which was likely to follow 2019's Nokia 9 PureView in place of the rumored Nokia 10. According to the rumors we heard, this X50 would launch by the end of 2021.
Rumors about top-end phones from HMD Global rarely pan out, which means this whisper alone isn't enough to keep an X50 launch on the 'possibly' list. But, we also know that at some point during 2021, HMD Global changed the way it named its phones.
Currently, there are Nokia C, G and X phones, with entries at each level being respectively more premium. Taking this into consideration, a mid-range Nokia X50 is far more likely than a premium one. So if there is another Nokia phone out this year, there's a good chance it's an X50 with mid-range specs and a low price.
Admittedly, that's not a lot to go on, but a Nokia X50 launch is still more likely than releases for some of the other devices on this list.
Earlier in 2021, a few rumors suggested we could see the Samsung Galaxy S22 in late December, which would buck the usual trend of Samsung's phones launching in January or February of each year.
A December release might have made sense as a response to the cancellation of the Galaxy S21 FE, while positioning the S22 as a more formidable rival of both the iPhone 13 and the Xiaomi 12. But scrapping the Galaxy S21 FE was also only a rumor, and it seems likely that handset will launch after all.
We don't think the S22 will launch in December, but because of some talk in the domain, we had to include it on this list.
We heard quite a few rumors about the Google Pixel Fold in the build-up to the Pixel 6 launch, and we were excited about the possible coming of Google's first foldable smartphone. But sadly, that never came to be.
Still, it's impossible to totally rule out the existence of this phone since several big-profile leakers said the device was coming. One of those leakers also expected other companies, like Oppo, Xiaomi and Vivo, to launch foldable phones by the end of 2021, but with the ongoing chipset shortage affecting the tech world, we're not holding our breath.
As mentioned above, Vivo is another smartphone maker that was expected to release a foldable phone in 2021, but of all the new phone rumors we've heard, we'd say this launch is the least likely to happen. The primary reason is that Vivo is not an established enough smartphone company to start working on a flashy foldable.
Still, we won't rule this potential phone release out completely since Vivo is owned by BBK Electronics, which also owns Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, companies we've seen share tech developments. It's possible that through collaborative work, Vivo might just surprise us with a foldable smartphone earlier than expected. But over the next few weeks? Hardly likely.
Some of the biggest upcoming phones of 2022 are likely to feature the next-gen chipset from Qualcomm, and we're set to hear about it today during the first part of the company's Tech Summit 2021 event.
Qualcomm has confirmed its next-gen chipset won't be called the Snapdragon 898, as some had previously expected. Instead, the company is changing up its name for its flagship platform and we've yet to find out what it'll be called.
Flights and accommodation for this launch event were funded by Qualcomm, but the views reflect the writer's own honest opinion.
That's one of the announcements we expect to hear today, but we're also anticipating news on the new chipset and maybe even some confirmations from phone manufacturers on whether each plans to use the new platform.
We're live at the Tech Summit 2021 event in Hawaii, and we'll be bringing you all the latest news throughout the day. The keynote kicks off at 3PM PST, 6PM EST, 11PM GMT (or 10AM AEDT on Wednesday December 1).
Before that, we'll be talking you through some of the rumored features for the next-gen chipset and everything else we've heard about it so far.
Welcome to our Tech Summit 2021 coverage where you'll be among the first to hear about everything that happens at today's keynote.
If you're interested in what features may debut on 2022 Android smartphones, this is the place to be. We expect this next chipset to feature in flagship handsets from a whole variety of top-end phone makers.
Qualcomm has confirmed it'll be revealing its new premium tier mobile platform today, although we don't know its name. Qualcomm says we can expect announcements in "AI, gaming, and connectivity".
You can watch along with the big keynote using the YouTube embed below. The event is set to start at 3PM PST, 6PM EST, 11PM GMT (or 10AM AEDT on Wednesday December 1).
Expect this live blog to fully kick into gear then when we start to hear announcements on stage from Qualcomm. We'll be typing as fast as we can to give you the latest from the show.
Two leading quantum computing companies, Honeywell Quantum Solutions and Cambridge Quantum, have combined to create Quantinuum, which is billed as the first full-stack quantum company.
By leveraging the quantum expertise of both its parents, Quantinuum plans to offer a comprehensive suite of quantum hardware and software, including the industry’s first quantum operating system.
“We are science led and enterprise driven, and our scale and global presence in this most critical of technologies will provide leadership in each of the key areas that constitute the ‘must haves’ for quantum computing to deliver real-world solutions to all our customers and partners,” remarked Ilyas Khan, founder of Cambridge Quantum, who will head Quantinuum as its CEO.
Honeywell explains that Quantinuum’s products and solutions will help support a multitude of high-priority tasks such as cybersecurity and encryption, drug discovery and delivery, and more.
Quantinuum hopes to deliver the solutions in such a manner that they are compatible with a variety of quantum hardware processors, such as the Honeywell-powered system Model H1, as well as IBM’s suite of quantum computers.
To that end Quantinuum has said that it’ll provide all quantum software developers open access to “tket,” an independent quantum software development kit.
“Quantinuum customers will now have access to the world’s first quantum operating system, applications, and hardware-agnostic software, all of which will be used to address extremely challenging business needs with which conventional computing systems struggle,” said Darius Adamczyk, chairman and CEO of Honeywell, who joins Quantinuum as its chairman.
So far, all of Canon's RF-mount mirrorless cameras have been pricey, pro-focused models with slightly painful price tags. But the good news for amateur and hobbyist shooters is that this is almost certain to change in 2022, according to fresh rumors.
The reliable Canon Rumors has been told by a "solid source" that "Canon is 'definitely' releasing an APS-C RF mount camera in 2022". The site didn't go as far as naming the model or any specifics, only raising the possibility of an EOS R7 that "could take the place of the EOS M line." But given previous rumors, the arrival of an EOS R7 is certainly the most likely scenario.
There has been growing speculation about the arrival of a Canon EOS R7, or at least an APS-C camera with Canon's RF-mount, for well over a year now. Canon Rumors even reported in December 2020 that one was already being tested in the wild, and was based on the chassis of the Canon EOS R6 .
Whether it's been pandemic-related delays or simply the fact that Canon has been focusing on the Canon EOS R3 and fleshing out its lens lineup, the much-anticipated EOS R7 seems to have stalled in recent months. But an APS-C RF-mount camera seems almost certain to land in 2022, given that Canon Rumors gave its speculation a rumor rating that it says equates to "fact."
The question now is, what kind of camera will it be, and what does this mean for Canon's current EOS M series? The latter, which arrived in 2012 as a mirrorless alternative to Canon's EF-mount DSLRs, seems destined for abandonment. Canon's focus is now on making high-end glass for its RF-mount cameras, though the EOS M series will still provide super-cheap options for beginners for the next few years.
We'll have to wait for firmer rumors on the Canon EOS R7, if that is indeed the first RF-mount camera with a smaller APS-C sensor, but previous speculation has suggested that it's likely to be compact hybrid model for sports shooters and videographers. If it's built around the design and engine of the Canon EOS R6, that could be a recipe for Canon's most popular mirrorless camera far.
Sensor size is usually a good indicator of a camera's price point and target audience – and while many professionals, in particular landscape snappers, use cameras with smaller APS-C sensors, it's fair to say that the arrival of a Canon EOS R7 would open up the RF-mount to a whole new audience.
Previous speculation has suggested that the EOS R7 won't be an entry-level model, but rather a 'mini EOS R6' for sports and wildlife shooters who demand a speedy, lightweight camera. But it's also likely to be the first of many Canon RF-mount mirrorless cameras, as they take the baton from the older EOS M range in 2022.
Why does Canon need a whole new system for APS-C mirrorless cameras? Some might cynically say "to sell more lenses", but there are solid technical reasons why it makes sense. Firstly, the RF-mount has big advantages over Canon's previous mounts, including a greatly-reduced flange distance (the space between the lens mount and image sensor) and a data pathway that has a higher bandwidth. These mean it can design new lenses that simply haven't been possible before.
It also makes sense for Canon, and Canon photographers, to only have one mirrorless mount to worry about. This is a benefit that Sony has often crowed about with its E-mount, which is found on both APS-C and full-frame mirrorless cameras. This would allow Canon snappers and video creators to have two or more bodies that all share the same lenses.
The other benefit of APS-C sensors is that they can provide more reach (with longer effective focal lengths) in smaller, lighter lenses. This means Canon would need to develop some more compact RF-mount glass, or or at least properly open up the RF-mount to third-party lens makers, to help its new APS-C cameras realize their potential. But the Canon EOS R7, if that's what it's ultimately called, would certainly be an exciting first step for anyone who fancies buying a powerful, compact mirrorless camera in 2022.
Now in its third season of showing Premier League coverage, streaming service Amazon Prime Video will be streaming its latest batch of live action this week with a full round of midweek fixtures.
There's some tasty looking features spread out over three days - including the Merseyside derby - followed by another 10 games just after Christmas, so read on for your full guide to getting a Premier League live stream with Amazon Prime.
This week's action also includes Ralf Rangnick's first game in charge as Man United interim manager as the Red Devils welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford.
Below, we’ll show you how to get in on the action and live stream Premier League football on Amazon Prime for all the biggest fixtures - and in some cases, you can even watch free!
Retailer-turned-video streaming service snapped up the broadcast rights for two gameweeks' worth of Premier League fixtures per season back in June 2018, with rights that will take them all the way through to 2022.
While the value of the deal has never been officially disclosed, its reported to have set Amazon back upwards of £90million.
Last season saw Amazon being granted permission to show additional games thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused huge swathes of fixtures to be played behind closed doors. This season things are back to normal, with the streaming service once again showing fixtures from two game weeks - one in late November/early December and the second during the Christmas Bank Holiday period.
The first full gameweek to be shown exclusively on Amazon will be the midweek matches played between Tuesday, November 30 to Thursday, December 2, which includes that huge clash between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park, Watford hosting Thomas Tuchel's high flying Chelsea, and that clash between Man United and Arsenal at Old Trafford.
The next run of games available to stream live on Amazon Prime will be during 'Chrimbo limbo' between Sunday, December 28 to Tuesday 30. That batch includes Man City's trip to Bentford, former Kop boss Brendan Rodgers facing his old side Liverpool as the Reds travel to Leicester and Man United vs Burnley.
Unlike regular old-fashioned TV, Amazon Prime isn’t restricted to individual channels and offers an unlimited list of separate live streams for each match. When several games are on at the same time, you’ll be able to switch between live streams of each match from the menu.
There's a full list of the fixtures further down this page.
To watch all this festive footy goodness you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber. You can sign up here - a year’s subscription costs £79 a year or £7.99 a month.
One of the great things about Amazon Prime is the wide array of options for accessing the service - Amazon offer apps across all types of smart devices.
If you've got a TV, Blu-ray player or other media player from the last couple of years chances are it'll have the Amazon Prime Video app either pre-installed or available from its app store. There are also bespoke apps for Android and iOS. And while this time last year we decried the lack of a Windows 10 app, that's now been added for those wanting to watch on their PCs.
Christmas will be coming early if you’re a thrifty sports fan that’s new to Amazon Prime. That’s because Amazon offers a 30-day free trial to those signing up to the service for the first time.
That means you can sign up at the start of the month and you’ll be able to watch all of the service’s matches over the festive period for nada!
Getting access to Amazon’s video streaming service isn’t the only perk of being a Prime member.
The key benefit is unlimited one-day (and for some areas same-day) delivery on millions of eligible items from the Amazon web store.
You also get access to exclusive Amazon deals (especially around Amazon Prime Day and hunting for Cyber Monday Amazon deals), unlimited photo storage on Amazon Cloud Drive with Prime Photos, plus exclusive access to Prime Music to stream or download tracks and albums.
And that’s just the tip of an Amazon-sized iceberg – you can check the full list of benefits here.
In short...no. Much like Netflix, iPlayer, Disney Plus and pretty much every other TV streaming service, you can expect your viewing pleasure to be curtailed by geo-blocking, That is, you can't watch your usual catalog of shows and streams when overseas.
So if you’re away from the UK but still want to watch the football on your Prime account, then your best option is to download and install a VPN and then log in to a UK IP address.
We've tested all of the major VPN services and we rate ExpressVPN as the absolute greatest out there. It's compatible with loads of devices (e.g. Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Xbox and PS4) and streaming services, ranks amongst the fastest and most secure, and even has an available 30-day money back guarantee so that you can effectively try before you buy. That said, an annual plan currently has 49% off and three months extra free which is much better value.
And one of the things we like most about ExpressVPN is the super helpful 24/7 customer service. If you're having any problems at all connecting, they'll be on hand to sort you out.
- Sign up risk free to ExpressVPN now
Once signed up, you just need to open up the app, find yourself a UK server and then watch Amazon Prime as if you were back at home. It's really that easy.
We're nearing the end of Cyber Monday and when it ends, so does this fantastic deal on Hulu that offers new and valid returning customers 12 months of access for $0.99 per month versus the streaming service's regular price of $6.99 per month.
The deal went live a few days ago, but it's now in its closing hours – making it one of the last chances you'll get to subscribe at this price for another 365 days.
Hulu (with ads): 12 months for $0.99 per month
Save $72 - For cord-cutters, this Hulu Cyber Monday deal is a must-buy, offering 12 months of the service for just a dollar per month. This is the version with ads (boo!), but you'll still be able to watch next-day showings of your favorite NBC, ABC and Fox shows, along with a great selection of movies and anime.
The obvious caveat here is that you’re subscribing to the Hulu with Ads service, rather than the ad-free service that typically runs you $12.99 per month.
Admittedly, the ads are frequent and annoying, but being able to watch hit shows from NBC, ABC and Fox one day after they air is really nifty, especially at this price point.
Want to see how much Hulu's other plans cost? We’ve included the pricing on all three services down below.

When the Google Pixel 6 was unveiled lots of people mocked its weirdly-large horizontal camera bump – but apparently that didn't put off Realme, as it sounds like the next flagship phone from the company could have a similar design.
Shortly after Realme unveiled the 'GT 2 Pro' name for its next smartphone, which will apparently be the brand's "first and most premium flagship phone" according to its CEO, a leaker provided some pictures of what the device could look like.
Popular leaker Onleaks provided these pictures to 91mobiles, and they show green and white versions of the GT 2 Pro – no word on the non-Pro version, but many Chinese manufacturers tend to make more of a song and dance about their top-end devices.
Hello #FutureSquad! Here comes your very first look at the #RealmeGT2Pro in two color options by the way of an official press render as well as some specs (display, processor and rear camera) and its starting price! On behalf of my Friends @91mobiles -> https://t.co/J7FRD6MtA4 pic.twitter.com/WubSMJHSbQNovember 29, 2021
We've seen quite a few Android phones with horizontal camera bumps, but like the Pixel 6, the GT 2 Pro's lens-home sticks a fair way out from the back fo the device.
As well as providing these images, OnLeaks shared some specs for the phone: apparently it'll have a 6.8-inch WQHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP main camera joined by a 50MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto snapper, a 32GB selfie camera, 12GB RAM, the next top-end Snapdragon chipset and 125W fast charging.
A rough price is provided at $799 (around £600, AU$1,120) – that's the cost the Galaxy S21 launched at, so the GT 2 Pro seems like a close rival for that mobile. It's worth pointing out that Realme doesn't see its devices in the US though, yet at least.
One of the most distinguishing things about the first wave of Realme GT phones was their designs – above you can see a gallery showing the original, the GT Neo 2 and the GT Master Edition.
They've all got noteworthy appearances, with the stripes and bold colors of the first two and the ridged suitcase style of the third.
That's not the case with these Realme GT 2 Pro renders though – judging by the pictures, the handset looks a lot more generic and standard. It's a shame, because at TechRadar we're big fans of interesting-looking phones, and found the GT a refreshingly novel device.
Plus, it doesn't seem like we're getting a vegan leather Realme GT 2 Pro, despite how nice that felt in the hand for the GT.
Perhaps the 'standard' Realme GT 2 will have some more design elements in keeping with the original entry in the series, but we'll have to wait to find out.
The Cyber Monday Garmin sales are here, and many are the same as the Black Friday deals which launched a few days ago. They're still find all the top deals below, which are still in stock.
We're seeing big savings on the Garmin Fenix 6 range in particular, but there are discounts across a wide variety of Garmin wearables, with more possibly still to come.
That said, some years we don't see much in the way of new offers on Cyber Monday itself, with retailers instead continuing their Black Friday deals, so if you see something tempting you might as well buy it now, as the deals likely won't get any better.
Below we've highlighted all the best deals so far, and we'll be updating this article if and when new deals arrive, so keep it bookmarked if you don't spot anything you want yet.

Save £50.99 - The Garmin Forerunner 45 is pretty much the gold standard in affordable running watches, offering a competitive number of features in a lightweight package and at an affordable price. Our 4-star review praised all of these things, but noted that sport profiles are limited and the build is heavy on plastic. Still, with 32% knocked off the price of the Lava Red model in this deal, it's hard to be too annoyed by that.

Based on what we saw last year we can take a good guess at some of the Garmin deals that we might see on Cyber Monday 2021. They include the following:
Garmin makes a wide range of wearables at different prices and for different types of users, so it can be tricky finding the right one.
It can also be tricky finding the best deals, even on sales days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but we've got some tips to help.
1. Check out our best Garmin guide
It's worth working out what you want to buy before you even head into the sales, and your first stop for that should be our best Garmin watch guide, where we've highlighted all the top options.
Don't just go for our number one pick though, as something else might suit you better - some Garmin wearables are aimed at serious athletes, while others are more for those just dipping their toes in, and some focus on specific sports too. So it's worth taking a look at all the best options.
2. Keep an eye out for dodgy deals
Not every deal is a good deal, even if it looks good. A discount of 50% off RRP for example might look great, until you realize that nowhere is selling the device at full price.
So it's worth checking the prices elsewhere before pressing the buy button, or even using a tool like The Camelizer to see price history for the site you're on. Or just stick with TechRadar, as we'll only be highlighting genuine deals here.
3. Watch for big deals on older models
The latest Garmin watches may well get discounted on Cyber Monday, but older models are far more likely to - and are likely to get biggest discounts.
Retailers will be looking to clear their stock to make way for the shiny new hardware, so big savings can often be had. And just because a model is older, it doesn't mean it's not still great.
The very best Cyber Monday Garmin deals are likely to be on Cyber Monday itself - that's November 29. However, you might see some similarly good deals on Black Friday (November 26) and on the weekend between those two dates.
There will be some discounts ahead of even Black Friday too, but for the most part these probably won't be quite as good, going by previous years.
Still, if you're in the market for a new Garmin then it's worth checking back on this page regularly between now and Cyber Monday, as we're already seeing major discounts pop up on a few models.
The best place to find Garmin deals on Cyber Monday will be this very page and the wider TechRadar site, as we'll be scouring the net for all the top options and highlighting them here. But if you want to conduct a search of your own then the following stores would be a good place to start.
Top US retailers
Amazon: expect loads of Garmin watches at low prices
Best Buy: expect big savings on various Garmins
Walmart: free shipping and discounts on Garmin wearables
Top UK retailers
Amazon: expect loads of the UK's best Garmin deals
Currys: save on Garmins and get free delivery
John Lewis: save money on various Garmin smartwatches
The big question in the run up to a sale like Cyber Monday is whether it’s worth waiting, or whether you should just buy now.
In the case of Garmin watches, there’s a good chance you’ll find some great deals on select models based on previous years – but there’s no guarantee that the specific model you’re interested in will get a hefty discount. So if you’re set on one particular Garmin, you might not gain anything by waiting.
If you buy one now on the other hand then you gain the ability to start using it sooner, so if you’re desperate to have one then that’s another reason to buy now.
But generally now that we’re getting close to Cyber Monday we’d suggest waiting, as other than getting the wearable later you don’t lose out by waiting, and you might gain a big saving.
That is, unless you see a great deal in early sales, as we're starting to see on a few models. You'll find all the best current deals further up in this article, so consider grabbing one of those if any catch your eye.
The best Garmin watch overall
Screen size: 1.3-inch diameter | Touchscreen: No | Battery life using GPS: 36 hours | Battery life on standby: 14 days | Onboard storage: 64MB | Bluetooth connection: Yes | Smartwatch capabilities: Yes | Multisport: Loads of them
The Garmin Fenix 6 is for our money the best Garmin watch. It's not cheap, but it could become a lot more palatable on Cyber Monday, with prices likely to plummet for the sale.
Really it's the whole Fenix 6 range that we rate at the top - they're all unsurpassed multi-sport smartwatches with comprehensive activity tracking, great battery life and strong performance.
Even with a Cyber Monday discount this might not be for you if you're not a serious athlete or outdoorsperson, but if you want a watch that won't let you down whether you're running a marathon or hiking a trail, this is the one for you.
The best Garmin watch for all-day wear
Screen size: 1.3-inch or 1.1-inch diameter | Touchscreen: Yes | Battery life using GPS: Up to 8 hours with music, 22 hours without | Battery life on standby: Up to 12 days | Onboard storage: 200 hours activity data, 650 songs | Bluetooth connection: Yes | Smartwatch capabilities: Yes | Multisport: Dozens
The Garmin Venu 2 is a mid-range wearable that does a great job of functioning both as a conventional smartwatch and as a sports watch.
Unlike many Garmin devices this has a fairly stylish, sleek design, yet it still has all the features you need when training outdoors or in, including GPS, heart rate monitoring, cadence tracking and a whole lot more.
The Venu 2 only launched in 2021 so we don't have any Cyber Monday history for it, but the original Garmin Venu did get a solid $100 discount last year, and Garmin wearables in general tend to get reduced, so we wouldn't be surprised if there are some decent deals on this too.
The best Garmin watch for new runners
Screen size: 1.04-inch x 1.04-inch | Touchscreen: No | Battery life using GPS: 20 hours | Battery life on standby: 14 days | Onboard storage: 200 hours of data | Bluetooth connection: Yes | Smartwatch capabilities: Yes | Multisport: Cycling | Inbuilt heart-rate monitor: Yes
If you're after a budget Garmin watch then the Garmin Forerunner 55 is a top choice, especially if you're a runner.
There's no touchscreen, but the five hardware buttons that you get instead are arguably easier to use mid-run, and with suggested workouts and post-training advice this wearable goes beyond just tracking - it also gives you the insights you need to train better.
We found that it had extremely accurate GPS too, and it's a bit of a bargain even when it's not discounted, so this could be a low-end star of Cyber Monday if there are any decent deals on it.
While we wait for Cyber Monday 2021, it's worth taking a look at some of the best Garmin deals we saw on Cyber Monday 2020. You can see these below, and while they're all expired, they provide an indication of the sorts of discounts you might see this year.

This is a turbo-charged version of the original Fenix 6X, with additional training features for runners and skiers, plus extensive golf course maps. It's a top-end Garmin watch, and it's very rare to see it under $600, so this is a seriously impressive deal.
Garmin Fenix 6: £458.53 £359 at Amazon (save £99.53)
This is a huge saving on Garmin's flagship sports watch, and one we'd been hoping for all year. Our reviewer called the Fenix 6 "the best multi-sport watch you can buy" thanks to its unbeatable outdoor sports tracking, accurate biometrics, and solidly built design. Its main downside at launch was its price, but with almost £100 off, that's no longer an issue. Very highly recommended.
Garmin Vivomove Style: £259.99 £189.99 at Argos (save £70)
The Garmin Vivomove is a gorgeous hybrid smartwatch that's perfect for anyone who finds regular fitness trackers a little bit ugly. It has an analog face with a hidden digital display that reveals vital stats and smartphone notifications at the push of a button. It collects far more data than that though, and pushes a wealth of info on your activity and wellbeing to the Garmin Connect app on your phone. A stunning smartwatch, and a great deal with £70 off at Argos.
Garmin Fenix 6S: £424.29 £359 at Amazon (save £65.29)
This is a scaled-down version of Garmin's flagship Fenix 6, with a 42mm face that's better suited to smaller wrists. It still boasts all the same features as the larger version, including multi-day batter life in GPS mode, multi-sports tracking, stress monitoring and SpO2 tracking, plus barometric altimeter and thermometer.
Garmin Fenix 6S Pro: £581.94 £439 at Amazon (save £142.94)
This is a souped-up version of the classic Fenix 6S, with some added extras for runners and golfers. PacePro tech helps you manage your pace during training runs and races, and CourseView gives you access to over 41,000 golf course maps right on your wrist. That's a lot to pack into a 42mm sports watch, and this is its lowest price ever at Amazon.
Garmin Fenix 6X Pro: £549 £488 at Amazon (save £61)
This is a turbo-charged version of the original Fenix 6X, with additional training features for runners and skiers, plus extensive golf course maps. The £61 price drop is fairly modest, and there's no question this is still a very expensive sports watch. The original Fenix 6 is over £100 cheaper, and gives you almost all the same features unless you're a very keen sportsperson.
